Heat-curable acrylic resin achieves anti-fouling and pencil hardness of 2H! We have newly added a hard coat specification: SQ 150 to our ladder silicone modified acrylic resin SQ series, which is introduced as a resin for anti-fouling coatings!! Our SQ series is an organic-inorganic hybrid type resin that incorporates ladder silicone (ladder-structured polysiloxane / silsesquioxane) into its molecular framework. 【Effect as a resin for anti-fouling coatings】 Since the silicone component is fixed within the coating film, the anti-fouling properties are sustained compared to cases with only additives.

Acrylic is an incredibly versatile transparent resin!

Acrylic resin is a highly transparent "synthetic resin." It is also sometimes referred to as organic glass, along with polycarbonate and others. While it has transparency that surpasses glass, it is easy to process (cutting, machining, drilling, bending, and bonding) and has high impact resistance (not easily breakable) and weather resistance. 【Features】 ■ Transparency - Very high - Easy to color and dye ■ Workability - Cutting (laser, jigsaw, cutter) - Engraving (laser, rotary tool) - Drilling (drill) - Bending (heater, furnace bending) - Bonding (solvent bonding, polymer bonding) ■ Durability - Weather resistance (approximately 10 to 20 years outdoors) - Combustibility (ignition temperature 400°C, can be extinguished with general fire extinguishing agents) - Elasticity (expands and contracts about 0.7 to 2mm with a temperature change of 10°C per meter) - Safety (fragments do not scatter upon breakage) - Electrical insulation (high insulation, withstands high voltage) - Operating temperature (-40°C to +65°C, deformation occurs at high temperatures) *For more details, please refer to the external link or feel free to contact us.
